Here's how the program works!
Your Teaching Coach is an innovative, app-based professional development program to support professors and educators in creating effective and engaging learning experiences for college students.
Your Teaching Coach is the "guide by your side" so you always have the support you need, when you need it.
Choice & flexibility. You can choose how much you want to learn about a topic based on your prior knowledge, experiences, and goals. Complete a microlesson, watch a webinar, or listen to an audio lesson for more info.
Small lessons, anytime, anywhere. Bite-sized lessons (take less than 5 minutes!) delivered through your phone makes it easy to learn whenever and wherever it works best for your schedule. You are guided through 40 engaging microlessons designed to help you apply educational concepts to you own courses and career.
Supportive, private community. You will be able to connect with other colleagues who can offer support, share ideas, ask questions, and grow your professional network.
Coaching. Small group coaching sessions will help you reach your goals, improve your teaching, and continue your journey to become an effective and engaging educator.

What's Included?
CONTENT
You get access to a library of 40 microlessons focused on 10 topics: Lesson Planning & Prep, Active Learning On Site, Active Learning Online, Flipped & Blended Learning, Assessment, Access for All, Motivation, Critical Thinking, Reflection & Debriefing, and Career Development.
Lessons only take 2-5 minutes to complete. Each lesson is grounded in theory, informed by research, and designed for practical application. You enhance your teaching skills, take action, and reflect on your work.
COACHING
You get access to small group virtual coaching sessions where you can ask questions, share experiences, and dive deeper into your learning journey.
Coaching sessions are led by Dr. Barbi Honeycutt and special guest coaches. These calls are perfect for asking questions, setting new goals, and sharing ideas.
COMMUNITY
Our private online community is a great place for you to connect with other educators and continue the conversations about topics that matter most to you.
We use Circle which is a private community platform that does not include ads, algorithms, or data sharing/tracking.
GUEST EXPERTS

Hi, I'm Barbi!
Before I launched my business back in 2011, I was an adjunct professor and taught undergraduate and graduate courses. I also served in every position (from intern to director!) in a teaching center at a large research university.
Now, as a speaker, consultant, and author, I have traveled throughout the U.S. working with educators from every type of college and university.
In all of these experiences, I realize how important it is for you to have access to effective and engaging professional development experiences that work with your busy schedule.
That's why I created Your Teaching Coach! I developed this innovative program to support educators at all levels and from all types of institutions. I want to give you a supportive place to connect, learn, and be recognized for your dedication to teaching.
For 21 years, I have advocated for the importance of professional development in teaching at the college level. Bringing people together to talk about teaching is the work that I love to do!
